A basic understanding of animal health and animal disease control is essential for effective production animal management and care systems. The faculty in charge of this subject has practical experiences such as farm HACCP senior auditor / JGAP instructor and wrote a disinfection handbook in the livestock field. |

Understand and can practice the methods and strategies for animal health at farm level, including keeping production animals in healthy condition and establishment “Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point” system at farms. Prevention of diseases. 6. Environmental hygiene / animal welfare. 7. Animal hygiene management. 8. Poisoning for animals. 9. Management of the livestock manure. 10. Animal health for dairy cattle. 11. Animal health for beef cattle. 12. Animal health for pig and poultry. 13. Animal health for special purpose domestic animals. 14. Animal health for companion animals, exhibition animals and wild animals. 15. Summary and examination. |
| Prerequisites |
| Students are required to learn a class using lecture materials and prints before and after the class. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below. |
