Course description
Well-being in ordinary life seems easy to obtain, however, it is true that not all individual humans and animals can enjoy it in society. In this course, based on the coexistence between humans and companion animals, welfare of both humans and companion animals and the associations between their welfare are explained by referring to various issues in society. In addition, fundamental knowledge of psychology is applied to discuss the knowledge, attitudes, measures and behaviors needed to solve these social problems. Necessary knowledge and concepts for experts to build a sustainable society are explained.
This elective course carries 2 credits at the Department of Ecoregion Science.
Expected Learning
Students will be able to obtain appropriate mind of welfare for humans and animals, and behave properly.
