Course description
Both the human body and Ecological environment are automatically-regulated systems and are interacted with one another. Good handling or management is important to maintain the system. This course provides fundamental knowledge of human physiological system interacting with various external environments.
Expected Learning
This course are designed to enable students to:
1. Define and describe the physiological functions of human body in various environment.
2. Delineate the key viewpoints to create symbiotic environments for human and ecosystems

Following class will be scheduled.
1. Introduction: Bioclimate: changes in human living environment
2. Human sense 1.Cutaneous and auditory senses
3. Human sense 2.Visual and chemical (Taste and Smell) senses
4. Effects of thermal and sound environments on human senses
5. Nervous and muscular systems in human
6. Homeostasis in humans
7. Biological rhythm
8. Examination 1
9. Homeostasis in human
10. Biological rhythm in human
11. Stress system in human
12. Stress and emotion: emotional responses in human
13. human adaptations against stress
14. Effects of 24-hour society on the human physiological system
15. Examination 2
Prerequisites
This lecture is an elective subject, and is one of the specialized subjects.
Students need to preview and review for an amount of time as indicated in the student guidelines of TUAT, in addition to the attendance of lecture (30 hours).
