Basic concepts of the general veterinary public health are lectured. The lectures include the purpose of public health, the related fields of food hygiene, zoonosis, environmental hygiene, and animal welfare, public health statistics, and administrative structures on public health. The lecturers have firsthand experiences on General veterinary public health and will describe actual examples on this subject. |

| In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University. |

| Students only who attend at least two thirds of lecture can take the examination. Two tardies are counted as one absence of lecture. Students whose marks are no less than 60 points will pass the exam. |
