This course covers differentiation and integration of functions of one variable. Calculus is the foundation of modern mathematics. It plays an important role in understanding a wide range of fields such as statistics, chemistry and biology. Takafumi Mase (a part-time lecturer) will be in charge of this course. |

The goals of this course are to (1) Learn the calculation skills of differentiation / integration of functions of one variable. Mathematics in high school (especially Mathematics III) is necessary. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below. |
