Course description
Aim: The aim of this course is to understand realities of rural areas in Japan from the aspects of governance and sustainability which is crucially required for regional planning.

Summary: The course provides: 1) Basic knowledge of rural area/community; 2) primary concepts for sustainable rural community; 3) Basic Thoughts and realities of regional governance.
Expected Learning
You will obtain basic information, concepts and thoughts necessary to discuss rural development with governance and sustainability.
