Course description |
This course overviews the historical development of Japanese agriculture from primitive era to contemporary age, with considering the context of world history. This course is offered as one of the Humanities and Socical Sciences courses of the Global Liberal Arts Studies. |
Expected Learning |
Students are expected to (1) Be able to explain how agriculture of Japan changed and developed based on the historical thinking. (2) Gain the knowledge how agricultural sector characterizes the society at the each period. Prerequisites |
Students are expected to 1) review what you learned in the last lecture (13h) 2) submit a short report (20h) 3) prepare fot the term-end examination (12h). In addition to the above-mentioned activities and 30 hours you spend in the class, you are recommended to study on the topics covered in the lectures spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University for each class. |
