Course description |
The course introduces you to basic Chinese vocabulary and grammar. You will learn the laws of grammar, read and speak easy sentences, translate them into Japanese and write brief responses in Chinese. After passing the final exam you are entitled to obtain a credit. Native speakers of Chinese are not permitted to register for this course. This course is offered as the first part of the two-part Chinese language course of the Global Language and Cultural Studies. |

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to: 1. exchange daily greetings 2. pronounce words correctly 3. read simple sentences with the aid of a dictionary 4. have a wide range of interests in Chinese and Chinese culture.
