Course description
Students will learn about basics of genome function, signal transduction, and transcription mechanism in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. They will also learn about functional analyses of genome based on genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics. Principles of genetic engineering will be introduced.
Expected Learning
Student should understand basics in omics analyses. Student will be able to plan experiment to select the technology and/or methodology learned in this course.

Prerequisites
Students entering this class are assumed to have taken Basic Biology in the first semester, and master technical terms and knowledge on biology.
