Course description |
This class covers the mechanics and dynamics of human body motions. We will talk of the modeling of the human movements, the measurements and the analysis. Using motion capture technology, equation of motion, and data science (deep learning) we will understand together how the human body moves and how the humans may control their movements. |
Expected Learning |
In this class you will learn: - to model the human body dynamics - to write the equation of motion of such system - to measure the human movement and the human dynamics - to process and analyze the data - to classify and quantify movement performance |
Course schedule |
Classes 1-15 are for Japanese students (students willing to learn more are welcome to study until class 22) Classes 1 to 22 are for exchange students The below program is tentative and may be adjusted depending on class progresses. There will be homework once a week.
