Course description
n this lecture, I will give basic concepts of thermodynamics based on empirical macroscopic knowledge, which is important for understanding the basic physical properties of electronic materials. In addition, the lectures will be given on statistical methods to clarify the relationship between macroscopic thermodynamics concepts and microscopic statistics concepts of molecular kinetics, aiming at a deeper understanding on thermodynamics.
Expected Learning
(1) Understand the basic physical and chemical properties of various materials.
(2) Understand the principle of device operation using the materials.
