Course description
Transboundary air pollution influences the ecosystem through the atmospheric deposition process.
This lecture provides students with the specialized knowledge on deposition and exchange processes of air pollutants between land and atmosphere. In addition, we will investigate relevant international initiatives in each region such as Asia, Europe, and North America, consider global strategy of air pollution control.
This lecture is a subject which understands the process between the atmosphere and the ground surface in material circulation of the earth system.

Students for the lecture must receive the guidance at the first lecture.
Expected Learning
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- explain air-surface exchange of gas and aerosols and atmospheric deposition.
- express an opinion on the relationship between the above atmospheric process and various environmental problems.
