Course description
Participants will learn about stable isotope and radioactive isotope techniques effective for investigating biogeochemical cycling on the Earth's surface layer and aim to make use of those approaches in their own research. Furthermore, participants will conduct discussions through the reading & presentation of the isotopes papers related to their research.
Expected Learning
Students who successfully completed the course of this lecture,

― will understand that stable isotopes and radioactive isotopes are being effectively utilized in natural science, especially biogeochemical cycling research.

― are able to apply stable isotopes techniques to their own current and future research.

― are able to find relevant papers in English, read it, and give a lecture the contents to people in an easy-to-understand manner. Furthermore, it is required to make comments on other participants’ research and presentation.
