Course description |
Biological functions of organisms are precise and surprisingly functional. Moreover, it is highly efficient and environmentally friendly. Understand the overview of biofunction applications and give illustrations of artificial materialization and functionalization. I will explain the challenges of the University of Electro-Communications as advanced technology of biological function applied technology. |
Expected Learning |
1. Grasping the overview of biofunction applied technology 2. To understand the advantages and problems of application of biofunction 3. Thinking about social needs, understanding the importance of contributing to international societal benefits by technology. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps. (URL: https://www.tuat.ac.jp/campuslife_career/campuslife/policy/ ) |
Course schedule |
1. Explain the appearance of biofunction applied technology. 2. Outline of application examples of biofunction applications. 3. Introduce social (global) problem (medical system). 4. Outline of chemical substances and biological function control. 5. As far as possible, introduce case examples of practical applications of biomedical applications of the University of Electro-Communications. 6. If time permits, I'd like time to debate (announce) these. |
