[Objective] The purpose of this lecture is to provide students with the knowledge needed to understand the latest outcomes of the field of physiological and biological chemistry. [Synopsis] This lecture introduces the knowledge of carbohydrate acting enzymes, Anti-cancer drugs, bioactive natural compounds, animal cell membrane, glycoprotein sugar chain, etc. |

(Yutaka Miura) 10) Cell membrane is important for the functions of animal cells. The structure and physiological significance of cell membrane will be lectured. 11) The recent concept for animal cell membrane structure will be lectured, focusing the structures and functions of lipid microdomains in cell membrane. 12) The effects of dietary membrane lipids on cell functions will be lectured. Prerequisites |
Students belonging to the course of physiological and bioligical chemistry must take this lecture. Students need to preview and review for an amount of time as indicated in the student guidelines of TUAT, in addition to the attendance of lecture. |
