The nutritional requirements and managements of the modern pigs and chickens exhibit changes owing to improvements of the genetic selection and breeding, which resulted in further improvement of the growth rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and meat yield. However, it is the limiting point to produce the animal meat that the appropriate managements and feeds was not completely determined in animals. This lecture will talk about the recent animal management and the improvement of animal production under the stress condition such as heat stress and oxidative stress.
