Course description
The purpose of this lecture is to provide students with the knowledge needed to understand the latest outcomes of environmental history and rural studies in the field of the humanities and social sciences. The lecture also provides students with the knowledge needed to develop solutions for research in the humanities and social sciences.

This lecture introduces the latest knowledge of environmental history and rural studies through reading academic books carefully.

This course is replaced with "Human coexistence II" in the new curriculum.
Expected Learning
- Understanding the latest knowledge and previous outcome of environmental history and rural studies.
- Understanding the latest knowledge of methodology and research methods in the humanities and social sciences.

This lecture is an elective subject and is one of the specialized subjects.
