Course description |
In material utilization of wood resources, we acquire knowledge about manufacturing and evaluation of wooden material by adhesion processing, and high durability of wood resources by chemical processing. I will also refer to biomass utilization of wood resources whose various uses are shown. |
Expected Learning |
・ Understand the foundation of adhesion processing and adhesive for wood. ・ Various wooden materials produced by adhesive processing and their raw materials, physical property evaluation method, durability and deterioration mechanism I understand it. ・ Understand how to modify wood by chemical processing (complexing treatment or chemical modification). ・ Understand the use of various wood biomass. This lecture is an elective subject, and is one of the specialized subjects. Students need to preview and review for an amount of time as indicated in the student guidelines of TUAT, in addition to the attendance of lecture (30 hours). |
