Course description
Goal:
In this course, students will acquire the knowledge necessary to understand the latest research in the field of forest environment conservation, which is part of the discipline of natural environment conservation. Students will also study the knowledge involved in problem-solving in conducting natural environment conservation research.
Overview:
We will discuss the study of human dimensions of forest resource management as well as forest planning and its related studies.
Expected Learning
Read and comprehend social science papers, as well as write about your thoughts on the points raised in those papers.
State your thoughts on the points raised in the aforementioned papers during class and discuss with the other students and the instructor.
Summarize your thoughts in a single essay, as well as introduce case studies based on each class discussion.
Understand the solutions through forest planning (studies) to issues related to forests.
