Course description
In this course, various phenomena required for chemical engineers, such as transport phenomena engineering, reaction engineering, fluid engineering, crystallization engineering, chromatography separation engineering, materials processing engineering, modeling and simulation engineering, etc. We will focus also on model cases.
Expected Learning
The instructor (from Mitsubishi Chemicals) has consistently engaged in the development of production technology for more than 20 years. Based on "real" projects, the student can learn how companies can utilize their knowledge in the chemical engineering field, as a chemical engineer.
Course schedule
Lectures and a tour of experimental equipment will be held at the Mitsubishi Chemical Yokohama Research Laboratory in the beginning of August.
