Course description
This course will contribute to cultivation of students’ ability to conduct research and development on their own initiative and is recommended to be registered at the 1st year of Master course. The aim of this course is cultivation of researchers with wide viewpoints and acquirement of research ability toward new subjects.

Under the guidance of the adviser, detailed literature search on research subjects different from the ones in the master course will be carried out with preparation of a resume and exercise for oral presentation.
Expected Learning
The standard of the course is to carry out detailed literature search on research subjects different from the ones of the student in the master course and to give an oral presentation as well as to participate in the discussion.

Course schedule
It is very important as a researcher to acquire wide views toward a variety of fields and investigative ability toward new subjects. Detailed literature search on research subjects different from the ones in the master course will be carried out with preparation of a resume and exercise for oral presentation. Moreover, wide sights will be obtained by attending presentation on a variety of subjects in a different field.

The schedule and grouping will be noticed at the beginning of each semester. It is necessary to attend the classes on the schedule and to give a presentation. At least one question needs to be given at each class.
Prerequisites
This course is a compulsory subject.
In completing this course, students will spend at least the standard amount of time as specified by the
University following the adviser's guidance.

Evaluation will be done on the basis of students' attitude at a class, contents of presentation, discussion and reports.
