Course description

This lecture aims to explain intellectual property laws and systems concerning (invention, design, brand, trade secret etc.) that researchers and engineers should know. This lecture includes basic contents such as intellectual property laws, systems, statistical data etc. and practical contents such as intellectual property creation activities, know-how protection etc.

Expected Learning

1. Understand intellectual property laws and systems. 2. Explain protection and utilization of research results from the viewpoint of intellectual property. 3. Investigate and report the role of intellectual property in business. 4. Have a high problem consciousness concerning intellectual property rights.
