Course description
This course train the ability to summarize, evaluate, and develop the contents in the scientific papers through preparation of the abstracts and discussion about them.
Expected Learning
Students will acquire the ability to understand the contents in the scientific papers correctly and explain them to others intelligibly.
Course schedule
The students have to prepare the abstracts of the recently published papers (in 2018 and 2019) in the following fields in advance and send them to Dr. Nakano via e-mail (k_nakano@cc.tuat.ac.jp).
(1) Transition-metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions
(2) Transition-metal-catalyzed polymerization
(3) Functional polymer materials
(4) Synthesis, functions, and applications of organic semiconductors
(5) Synthesis, functions, and applications of organic light-emitting materials
In each class, the students present the abstract and discuss with other students and Dr. Nakano about them
