| Students understand how important to change their own research into innovations, and how to contribute to the social through innovations they create. Furthermore, students establish their own ideal image of global scientist who create innovations. |

Challenge to address global issues and create innovation 2. Chemical industry that contributes to the control of global warming 3. Global leader, business model 4. Creation of recording media business and global expansion in information recording field 5. Model of seed business in food production field 6. Think of "chemistry" from sensibility 7. Workshop ... recurrence of functional value and sensual appeal that sleeps in materials 2nd day: 1. Meaning and role of innovation in national strategy (long term plan) 2. Industry policy and entrepreneurship in the US (Government promotes ecosystem of creating new industry as the world's largest venture capitalist) 3. Japan's industrial policy (thinking the beginning of the decline of the Japanese economy and its causes) 4.
