Course description |
Learn about the history and significance of museum exhibitions and the process of exhibition business. We will deepen our understanding of the features of the various exhibitions and commentary methods while introducing case studies. In addition, they will learn basic knowledge on display production, such as the flow lines of the venue and the relationship with physical and psychological factors. |

In the museum, exhibition is one of the most important functions. At the same time, not only curators, but also exhibitors, volunteers, visitors, etc., it is a place where a wide variety of people are involved. To acquire knowledge and skills on the theory and methods of the history of the exhibition, the process of making the exhibition, the forms of the exhibition, etc., and to develop the basic ability of the museum's exhibition function. |

Authors range from museums to display companies and designers. Overall judgment based on design practice (40%), report (20%), and participation in class participation discussion (40%). |

The exhibition is a comprehensive social technology. We will organize the purpose and story of the exhibition, shape the exhibition space using various technologies, and manage them to aim for thinking for designing communication with people and society, and to acquire basic technologies. |
