Course description
[Purpose] Today's business world is rapidly undergoing globalization, and it is extremely important to have management skills for forming groups that fully utilize the abilities of diverse human resources with various backgrounds in terms of gender, nationality, language, age, social experience, and other characteristics. Through these lectures, the aim is for students to acquire skills relating to diversity management in business―such as communication, leadership, and strategy―that should be mastered by any excellent leader.
[Overview] Lectures are given by instructors from domestic and overseas the university on the diversity management needed at universities, research institutions, and companies. The latter half of the class uses an active learning format. A theme is decided upon regarding diversity business management, and there are group discussions. Ideas are brought together through communication, and then students make presentations.
Expected Learning
Master skills needed to exploit diversity management in business, such as communication, leadership, and strategy from a diversity standpoint.
