Course description
I will explain the adaptive significance (ultimate factor) and mechanism (proximate factor) of the behavior from an evolutionary point of view and how and why animals, also human beings, take such behaviors.This lecture gives bases understanding advanced cource.
Expected Learning
You can understand basic ethology and veterinary ethology, especially concepts of sexual selection, kin selection and the inclusive fitness theory.

Prerequisites
In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time (60 hours) as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.
