Course description
【Objective】 Crop protection studies are aimed at developing plants related to agriculture and forestry based on theories and knowledge of related fields such as plant pathology, applied entomology, and weed science, etc. This lecture outlines the basic concepts of plant protection and administration, the control and management technology of phytopathogenic microorganisms, pests, weeds and new technologies, etc.
【Overview】
In the field of plant pathology, we outline the characteristics and diagnostic methods of various diseases such as viral diseases of crops, fungi and bacterial diseases. In the field of weeds, we outline basic knowledge on weed ecology, allelopathy and others. In the field of pests, we will outline the concepts of risk control of agricultural chemicals, philosophy of integrated control and others.
Through lectures in each field, I would like you to understand the fundamental thinking about crop protection, accumulate information and knowledge on various technologies in this field.
Expected Learning
Student have to understand a basic way of thinking about the crop protection and accumulate information, the knowledge about various techniques in this field and feed the underlying ability corresponding to the problem to occur on the site
