Following subjects will be lectured. 1.Fundamental theories of landscape ecology 2.Models of landscape ecology 3.Quantification of landscape pattern and mechanisms that produce the pattern 4.Identification of conservation priority areas 5.Conservation and management of natural areas 6.Forest fragmentation and biodiversity I 7.Forest fragmentation and biodiversity II 8.Change in forest environment and ecosystem function I 9.Change in forest environment and ecosystem function II 10.Conservation ecology of large mammals 11-15.Discussion and presentation on relevant topics |
