Course description
Farm animal surgery, like farm animal medicine, is a subject established in accordance with the veterinary model core curriculum, and learns the causes, conditions, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various diseases in industrial animals of cows, horses, pigs, goats, and sheep.
This course is a course for teachers with practical experience. The faculty member in charge is directly involved in livestock clinical practice at NOSAI, and in the class, we gives lectures on clinical examples.
Expected Learning
Deepen your understanding of the causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of textbook typical cases of major diseases in industrial animals. In addition, students acquire the theoretical construction that can be interpreted by applying the acquired knowledge when encountering actual cases in clinical practice, etc.

9 Head, Respiratory Disease (Respiratory Disease in Horses, Oral Diseases in Cattle)
10 Gastrointestinal Disease (Tooth Disease, Esophageal Disease, Horse Gastrointestinal Disease)

Prerequisites
This course consists of academic knowledge of internal medicine, surgery and animal hygiene, and it is necessary to learn anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and parasitic pathology. This course provides a wide bridge of knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine, and it is necessary to return to the basics and deepen thinking in unknown areas.
