1. Aldehydes and Ketones: naming, preparation. 2. Aldehydes and Ketones: mechanism of nuculeophilic addition reaction. 3. Aldehydes and Ketones: examples of nuculeophilic addition reactions. 4. Prerequisites |
In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below. It is desirable for students to have taken organic chemistry I and organic chemistry II. |
