Course description

This course provides students with fundamentals of organic chemistry.

Expected Learning

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to: Recognize the element of organic comounds. Describe the structure of organic compounds. Recognize the kinds of organic reactions. Realize the nomenclature of organic compounds. Comprehend the properties and reactions of functional groups. Prerequisites

In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are rcommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.
