Course description
In order to understand material cycle and accumulation in environments such as NOx in atmosphere or metalic ions in soils, chemical knowledge about structure, state and reactivity of inorganic elements is required. Although inorganic compounds involve numeous chemical species and characters, they conform to systematic rules. The class lecture about structure, property and reactivity of inorganic elements, their ions and compounds.
Expected Learning
Learners will be able to estimate molecular structure of inorganic compounds by using chemical bond theory.
Learners will systematically understand physico chemical propertyies of inorganic compounds including crystals, ions, metals and semiconductor.
