Course description
This course aims to obtain more advanced skills of listening, structure, and reading to get higher scores in TOEFL-ITP. Through various kinds of TOEFL exercises, students are expected to gain knowledge of English for academic purposes, which will enable them to get more than 550, equivalent to CEFR B2.
Expected Learning
1) Students will be exposed to listening, grammar, and reading with various academic topics.
2) Students will earn the knowledge found in academic conversations and lectures, understand the structure of academic English texts, and read different types of academic passages.
3) Students will apply such knowledge and skills to their academic activities, such as reading the articles related to their academic interests, note-taking, report writing, etc.

Prerequisites
This course carries one credit. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to study independently with Academic Express 3, an e-learning system available outside the university. Also, students must attend at least 2/3 of the course in order to receive credit. If you are late for the class twice, it will be counted as one time of absence.
