Course description |
This lecture not only captures the basis of ethics in the context of modern society but also encourages students to think ethically. In particular, in this lecture, we will focus on the following four points and advance lectures. (1)What is ethics? (2)What kind of society is modern society (3)What is the norm in a global society? (4)What is necessary for "to think and act oneself"? This course is offered as one of the Humanities and Socical Sciences courses of the Global Liberal Arts Studies. |

Prerequisites |
This course carries 2 credits and is included in Humanities and Socical Sciences of the Global Liberal Arts Studies. In addition to 30 hours in the classes and 2 hours required for preparation of a course work, students are recommended to prepare for and review the classes, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University. |

Assessment/Grading |
Your performance are evaluated by the final report. However, submitting the final report is conditional on submitting four daily reports presented each time. The final report is evaluated from the viewpoint that your opinion is logically discussed based on the lecture. |
