| Course description |
| This intensive course deepens understanding of "Eco-region Science" through farm work exercises and field trips. This is a compulsory course for the first-year students of the Department of Eco-region Science. All the first-year students of Department of Eco-region Science need to register this course in April, while "Practice on Eco-region Science II" is registered in October. |

| Course schedule |

Two field studies are needed to complete this course. One is compulsory course, the farm practice, and another is an optional field trip selected among four courses consisting of: Ecosystem Conservation A, Forest Science A, Agricultural Environmental Engineering A, and 'Kyosei' Sustainable Society A. The course guidance is held in April. |
