Course description |
Nature experience activities are comprehensive activities that involves contents such as outside activities, nature/environment learning activities, arts that uses nature and cultural/artistic activities done in nature. This course will focus on “learning” through experiencing nature activities and will discuss the significance of nature experience activities as direct or indirect experience. |
Expected Learning |
To develop own perception on how to understand development that has been facilitated by human beings from the aspects of Nature Experience Activities. |
Course schedule |
The contents of this course are as follows. While two-third of the course will be intensive classes, the order of the contents is subject to change. Part I: Discussion on Learning in Nature Experience Activities (Asaoka) Schedule of regular classes (Part 1): the 4th period, Wednesdays from October 7 to November 25 (6 classes) Part II: Theory and Practice of Nature Experience Activities (Ishizaki, Sugayama) Schedule of intensive classes (Part II): October 24(Saturday) 9:00-17:30, 25 (Sunday) 9:00-17:30, 24(Saturday) 9:00-17:30,October 31(Saturday) 9:00-17:30 |
