Course description |
The objective of this course is to learn basic skills for forest resources management. In the university forest, students will acquire the skills required to measure, estimate, and analyze diameter, height, volume, growing process, etc. of trees. |
Expected Learning |
1) To be able to measure diameter at breast height and the height of trees. 2) To be able to measure and estimate the forest stand volume using the sample plot method and plotless sampling method. 3) To be able to analyze the growing process and volume of a tree using stem analysis. Prerequisites |
Students are recommended to take Forest Planning. In completing this course, students will spend the standard amount of time as specified by the university. |
