Course description |
Patricia Migian, a part-time lecturer, will be in charge of this class. The instructor is a native English speaker and has contributed to English education in Japan for many years, and has a reputation for teaching English expressions used in science and technology such as chemistry in an easy-to-understand manner. In addition, practical lectures that emphasize conversation and dialogue will be held. For this reason, this course is divided into two classes according to ability. As the class is organized during the new student orientation by the school board, the placement test will be conducted based on the results of the external examination, so students who wish to take classes will be educated between July 20th and September 20th. Please be sure to submit the score sheet to the committee (description of the course of engineering). If you have not submitted, you cannot take the course. This syllabus is subject to change due to lectures. |
Expected Learning |
1) To be able to understand and express simple English expressions related to chemistry and experiments as well as science and technology. 2) Actively speaking in the group and having an interest in the peer study. Applicants are required to take one of the following external exams as a placement test. Those taking the exam after April 1, 2017 will be valid. TOEIC Public Test Official Score Certificate Institutional Program Score Report (Individual Grade Sheet) for TOEIC-IP Test TOEFL-iBT Examinee Score Report (testee score) TOEFL-PBT Examinee Score Report (testee score) Examinee Score Report of TOEFL ITP (exclusive to the University) Please be sure to submit the score sheet in paper media to Boards of Education in C1 and C2 classes between July 20 and September 20. Submission via email is not permitted. If you have not submitted it, you can not register. Also, please be sure to attend in the designated class. |
