Course description
Properties of the elements are understood based on the periodic law. The aim of the lecture is to learn the structure, properties, and reactivity of the simple substances and representative compounds of the typical elements according to the groups and rows in the periodic table. The contents also include topics concerning main group elements in inorganic chemistry and inorganic materials.
Expected Learning
The standard of the course is to understand periodic properties of the elements and fundamental features of the typical elements and representative compounds of them based on the groups in the periodic table.

For the curriculum policy perspective of this course, please refer to the curriculum map in the Faculty of Engineering Course Guide.
