Course description
Statistics is an important tool in any research field for data analysis. In this course, I teach about statistical fundamentals of the statistics, such as probability, law of large numbers, confidence interval, etc. I focus on the case when N > 30 for simplicity.
Expected Learning
Students need to learn how to calculate confidence interval, whether there is any significant difference between two sets of data, mean and variance of Gaussian distribution.
Course schedule
Week 1-6, Probability, Week 7-14, Statistics.
Prerequisites
Differentiation, integration, basic probability.
