| Course description |
| Students read a selected English journal paper, as a representative of the related/specialized fields in chemical engineering or related fields. Understand the technical terms, basic equations and ideas of the paper. In addition, students learn the basics of how to express some items in English, and cultivate the ability to present points with a focus. |

| Students will be able to understand English expression of chemical engineering system, reaching the goal of being able to read technical paper(s) and scientific paper(s). |

| S is greater than or equal to 90, A is less than 90 and less than 90, B is less than or equal to 70 and less than 80, C is less than 60 and less than 70, D is less than 60. S, A, B, C are accepted, but D is rejected. |

| Students should actively participate in reading and presenting the journal paper. It is indispensable to read related papers in advance to deepen understanding of English sentences to be handled. |
