Course description

As a course in the SAIL program, students will visit research laboratories in the department and learn how to solve real scientific problems through "on-the-job" training.

Expected Learning

Students are expected to be able to: (1) address issues in a step-by-step mannar, (2) make reasonable plans, (3) perform experiments, (3) analyze obtained results, (4) give scientific presentations. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps.

Prerequisites
