Course description |
This course aims to cultivate a better understanding of media information through introducing principles of computer vision, brain machine interface, machine learning, and their applications. In addition, we also look at the meaning of existences of TV or newspapers from all sides. Students will be able to propose a novel media service for the future. In order to pass this lecture, students should submit the reports related to their proposal for a novel media service. |
Expected Learning |
Learners who complete this course will be able to understand: - history of multimedia, - fundamental technology of machine learning, - mechanism of human perception. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps (computer and information science, diploma policy type B). |

Prerequisites |
This lecture is part of the courses in the department of computer and information science. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, and they are recommended to spend 60 hours for preparing and revising the lectures. |
