Course description
The objective of this course is to increase students’ awareness of their own communication styles and cultural diversity issues, and cultivate their ability to conduct intercultural communication. We explore various themes that demonstrate the unique value of each culture, and examine cultural differences and similarities from a variety of perspectives. At the same time, the students are provided with opportunities to reconsider their own cultures. Active participation in class discussions, through the sharing of different experiences and points of view, is expected to stimulate students’ cultural awareness.
Expected Learning
・To compare your culture and other cultures and discuss characteristics of each in English.
・To learn difficulties and deal with them in intercultural communication.
・To accomplish a task in cooperation with others from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds in English.

Prerequisites
.Time of study required for completing this course applies to the standard time
of study in TUAT. Students need to preview, review and complete a task given for
