Students will learn the theory and research methods for ecosystem conservation based on vegetation science, biodiversity conservation, landscape ecology, and hydrosphere ecology.
Outline:
YOSHIKAWA class
This course offers lectures and practical exercises to learn the importance of semi-natural vegetation and the technique of vegetation management.
HOSHINO class
Analyze present status of conservation of biodiversity such as impact on ecosystem through the inversion of alien plants and animals, nature restoration etc., and discuss about the conservation plan.
Expected Learning
