Course description
Food system and agribusiness are developing with the globalization of agriculture and food market. By this subject, we think a food system from a global viewpoint, grasp the present conditions and problems and examine the future prospects.
Expected Learning
The goal of this course is that students will be able to understand food system more deeply through reading text books and discussion.
Course schedule
We will read the assignment book in turn. It takes the form of a participatory class in which each participant gives a presentation on the chapter that he or she is in charge of and all participants discuss it. We will focus on the speech and presentation during class.

Nomiyama will be in charge of the first half.

Prerequisites
It is desirable for the attendance student to study economics, agricultural economics.

Assessment/Grading
Three teachers will give their own written homework assignment in last each lecture.
Students might submit the assignments in a week.

Teachers mark the assignments on the basis of 100 points, so the full number of points is 200points. Grades will be given with the full number of points divided by 2.
