Course description |
Students collect and analyze information from the latest researches with global-sociology, papers, textbooks, reports, web in both specialized and related fields. Based on the information, students obtain information for research trends, issues, analytical methods, results, validation of findings, and validity of interpretation. This processes make clear the novelty of research and train the logical thinking of students. |
Expected Learning |
Through this course, students foster a basic knowledge and a high-level professional ability together with scientific perspectives of view which is important for developing logical thinking agriculture and related fields. |
Course schedule |
Progress will be adjusted based on skill level and achievement of students 1. Necessity of paper review 2. Types and characteristics of documents: academic papers, textbooks, reports, the Internet, etc. 3. How to collect information: From the library and the Internet 4. Select the theme and gather the necessary literatures 5. Composition and abstract of literature: titles, keywords, abstracts, charts, references 6. Importance of review articles and textbooks 7. Preparation of literature database 8. Types of literature databases and collection methods 9. To compile literatures for data base 10. Preparations for publication of literature summary 11. Presentation of literature compilation and question and answer 12. Summarize as a mini review 13. Reporting and discussion on progress of mini-review writing 14. Discussion on mini review and its contents |

This subject is classified into common exercise and is a required compulsory subject. |
