Course description |
This subject is the main part of master program. Students perform gathering information, conducting laboratory experiment, and field experiments for obtaining related data and information as well as conducting experiments and field investigation to preparing master's thesis. This subject is planned and performed by sub-supervisor. At the same time of obtaining the research results, students develop ability for performing researches particularly related to their special fields. |

Students are required to understand scientific logic system on agriculture and have fundamental knowledge and application which is essential for exploring the subjects. Students conduct researches and analysis with respect to the research ethics. In addition to having a high level of professional competence, wide view insightful perspective on solving problems will be obtained. Course schedule |
1st <Introduction> Exchange of information on the relevance to master's thesis, guidance, confirmation of research concept with a sub-supervisor. 2nd to 15th with sub-supervisor: Under the guidance of supervisor (sub-supervisor) different from the main supervisor, students will develop research concept and research plan as well as summarizing the results, analysis, interpretation of the results and so on. In addition, by receiving feedback from the sub-supervisor professor, students acquire information that is useful for making the master thesis, and receive advice for research results and writing of the thesis. Students also discuss the results of the research and their applicability. |
Prerequisites |
Related to subjects of the thesis, it is a required compulsory subject which is divided into special research B group. Subjects of special study group B open for October enrollment students, enrollees for April should take subjects of special study group A. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below. |
