Message from instructor(s)
Electrochemistry focused on "electron transfer" has been used in the electrolytic industry and anticorrosion technology for a long time, and in recent years has become an indispensable fundamental study especially for battery development. In recent years, its application has been wide-ranging, such as synthesis of various new materials irrespective of inorganic or organic, identification of compounds, and evaluation of physical properties of functional materials. This lecture is intended to learn the knowledge and techniques that is applicable to such wide range of fields, and we hope that students who specialize in many different fields will also take it.
